Music Ministry Notes

by Allen Cade, Minister of Music

Sanctuary Choir Notes:

Congratulations to John Scott and Mike Albert!

During the month of June both of our keyboardists marked anniversaries for service here at Audubon Park Baptist. First of all, organist, Mike Albert celebrated his first anniversary of service here at our church. Mike’s gracious spirit and excellent musicality are a wonderful blessing to us each week. Thank you, Mike, for faithfully serving God in this beautiful way. We look forward many more years of your faithful service to God through music.

Then, pianist, John Scott celebrated his 37th year of service through the music ministry of our church. That incredible record is matched by very few folks in the Southern Baptist Convention. We rejoice in John’s faithful service and we praise God for blessing our music/worship ministry with such a talented individual. Thank you, John, for sharing your time, talent, and enjoyable spirit with us for so many wonderful years. Now, on to your next 37 years!

The Sanctuary Choir needs U!

Summer can be a great time to get involved with this wonderful ministry group. The Sanctuary Choir plays a vital role as worship leader in our morning worship services. Rehearsals begin at 6:15 P.M. each Wednesday so that you won’t be out too late.

Say “Yes” to God’s call in your life by adding your voice in worship leadership through the Sanctuary Choir!

Thank You

To the Audubon Park congregation,

We the youth would like to take the time to show our appreciation for all your support.  Thank you so much for all the donations and time sacrificed to help us with our mission work.  Most of all, we would like to thank you for your prayers.  We could not have accomplished all that we did without the support of this church.  We know God was glorified during our week of service.  Thank you for continually encouraging the youth in all that we do, and we pray God will bless this church.
